DS 3: Safety / Deactivating the front passenger airbag
DS 3 2016-2025 Owners Manual
Forward-facing or rearward-facing

- Move the vehicle's front seat forward and
straighten the backrest so that the legs of the
child in the forward-facing or rearward-facing
child seat itself do not touch the vehicle's front
seat.
- Check that the backrest of the forward-facing
child seat is as close as possible to the backrest
of the vehicle's rear seat, and ideally in contact
with it.
Centre rear seat
A child seat with a support leg must never be
installed on the centre rear passenger seat.
Adjust the front passenger seat to the highest
and fully back longitudinal position, with the
backrest straightened.
"Forward facing"
You must leave the front
passenger airbag
active...
Other information:
The system may suggest an inappropriate
parking space (parking prohibited, work in
progress with damaged road surface, location
alongside a ditch, etc.).
The system may indicate that a space has
been found but will not offer it because of a fixed
obstacle on the opposite side of the manoeuvre,
which does not allow the vehicle to follow the
trajectory required for parking...
Driving and manoeuvring aids cannot, in
any circumstances, replace the need for
vigilance on the part of the driver.
The driver must comply with the Highway
Code, must remain in control of the vehicle in
all circumstances and must be able to retake
control of it at all times...
